Introducing Gallery Six - A New Platform For Emerging Creatives

Photograd is dedicated to showing the work of photography graduates and so we're excited to let you in on a few details about a brand new creative space in London - Gallery Six. Below you'll find all the information you need to know about this exciting space. We're looking forward to start working on some brand new case studies for the Photograd blog in collaboration with some of the practising photographers who currently use Gallery Six.

The Old Truman Brewery has launched a new concept work space specifically for first year BA graduates. Gallery Six will be a hub for engagement, a space to develop personal projects and collaborate on in-house Truman briefs. Applications are open now for future tastemakers & forward thinking individuals who need an inspired environment to test ideas and want to be surrounded by likeminded creatives. Unlike any co-working spaces currently available, members of Gallery Six will share their time & skills in an active professional work space. Successful applicants will experience the lifeforce and development of live projects at one of London’s most innovative venues.

Desks will be available on a 3 month basis free of charge, with an opportunity for Gallery Six occupants to integrate with Old Truman Brewery teams – Markets, Estates & Events. All applicants should be self-starters willing to jump in and lend a hand wherever needed. Day to day will vary greatly in typical Truman style – the space has been established to foster an environment where bold ideas can be enabled. Gallery Six is a springboard for graduates, offering an opportunity to apply skills to live projects at a professional level.

Situated on the west side of the Old Truman Brewery, Gallery Six is flooded with natural light, and easily accessible from Liverpool St station & Shoreditch High Street. Taking up residency alongside long term tenants such as Wieden + Kennedy and DigitasLBi, Gallery Six is perfectly located within the East London creative community. Facilities include meeting areas, computers & printers, desk space, kitchen and wifi. Members will also get access to all onsite events such as Tent London, D&AD festival, Graduate Fashion Week.
