Artist Statement: There is always a difference between people’s public image and private image. Generally, people will have some behaviours and states that have never been shown in the public world. People are too cautious about the public environment. And they don’t trust the public environment very much. They will release themselves completely, only they are staying alone.
In this shooting, I first explored people's behaviours and states in private space, such as crying, dress up as a celebrity in their home. Then I expose people's private state to public space. Such as sleeping, washing face and making strange posture in public environment. I want to express that people need not deliberately maintain their public image by showing only the delicate side. They can trust the public environment. Release different aspects, including gentleness and rudeness, positive and negative. In this way, People will face life in a more free state.
